What to Expect the Day of Your Initial Planning Session

What to Expect the Day of Your Initial Planning Session

On the day of your meeting, please expect to spend up to 60-90 minutes with your attorney. The initial meeting with your attorney has two purposes:

1- To guide you to become more financially organized and clear than you ever have been before, so you can finally relax around what you have and what you need; and

2- Give you clarity on how to best protect and grow your wealth today, and how to make things as easy as possible for your loved ones after you are gone.

Assuming there is a good fit between you and our firm, your attorney will help you to choose the plan and fee that is right for your family (we have several different planning options to accommodate your needs – our fees are all-inclusive, so there are no surprises) and you and your attorney will then design a plan that will give you the peace of mind of knowing your family and wealth will be protected.

In most firms, the relationship ends there.

But we see the creation of a plan and/or signing of documents as the beginning of our relationship with your family.

In this way, estate & wealth planning is one of the most compassionate things that you can do for you and your family. It not only provides you with the best life possible, but also benefits your loved ones and serves to prevent strife and conflict over inheritances by establishing clear and unequivocal directions concerning the distribution of your assets.
